Playing Musically With Our Babies and Toddlers - Webinar

Have you ever wondered how you could use music and musical activities more effectively with the babies and toddlers in your care?

Many educators lack confidence in their ability to make music with children, particularly in the earliest years. In this practical workshop, experienced music teacher Anne Belcher will teach you a simple framework for planning musical play with your babies and toddlers. You will work your way through each of the five key musical ingredients for music in the early years - beat, singing, instruments, movement and listening.

Engagement is encouraged, and we request each participant bring along some props - a doll or soft toy to be their “baby”, a pair of wooden blocks to tap together and a scarf for peekaboo and movement activities.

You will walk away with a fresh set of musical ideas and activities you can incorporate immediately into your early years learning and care program.
