In-service and consultancy terms of agreement 

  • The Terms and Conditions in reference to an in-service or consultancy delivery will be found in the Terms of Agreement attached to your signed quote/proposal.  

Approved provider and Governance Program 

All package offerings relating to the Approved Provider and Governance Program need to be finalised within the access period outlined on the product page and on your invoice. This includes one-on-one tailored Approved Provider support.  

Please note that this support is accessible only to the Approved Providers and/or committee members and covers information relating to operational requirements under the National Quality Framework (NQF), including responsibilities under the National Law and how to apply the National Law and Regulations in relation to education and service governance. Any additional requests for consultancy will need to be quoted for separately. 

Calendar training 

Changes or cancellation by CELA 

In the event that CELA needs to cancel a scheduled calendar training session, we will aim to provide notice at least three (3) hours prior to the session’s start time. For morning sessions, a shorter notice period may apply. 

Options and alternatives: 

  • Participants will be offered the option to attend the same session at a later date. 

  • If this is not possible, a CELA credit will be issued. The credit can be used to book into a new session or transferred to a colleague from the same service for a period of up to 12 months. 

Refund requests: 

If no session of interest is available within six (6) months of the cancellation date, a refund may be requested in writing within five (5) business days from receiving the CELA credit. 

Refund requests will be accepted if submitted at a minimum five (5) business days prior to the session date. 

Change requests or cancellation by participant/s 

Reschedule or request for CELA credit 

  • If a participant needs to reschedule their booking to a calendar training session, a written notice of minimum 24hrs from the scheduled date and time of the booked session is required and must be provided to training@cela.org.au.   

  • If written notice is provided per the above timeframe, CELA credit code will be issued for the amount used to make the purchase. The credit can be used to book into a new session or transferred to a colleague from the same service for a period of up to 12 months. 

Refund requests: 

  • Refund requests will be accepted if submitted in writing to training@cela.org.au at a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the session date. 

No-shows: 

CELA has a strict no-shows policy. No refunds or CELA credit will be given for no-shows. 

 

CELA Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from date of purchase, and bookings must be made within this period.
  • All training, events and other services provided by CELA are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Bookings using a gift voucher must be made online via the CELA website cela.org.au.  The voucher number must be entered in the Gift Voucher field on the payment page along with payment details at the time of making the initial booking.
  • Acceptance of the gift voucher entered on a booking as payment is subject to final verification by CELA upon receipt of the booking.
  • Should the total spend be more than the value of the Gift Voucher, the difference must be paid as per the booking terms and conditions.
  • Gift Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash. No credit or change will be given on the unused portion of the Voucher after the expiry date.

 

CELA Credit

  • CELA Credit is valid for a period of 12 months from date of receipt, and bookings must be made within this period.
  • Bookings using CELA Credit must be made online via the CELA website cela.org.au.  The credit code must be entered in the CELA Credit Code field on the payment page along with payment details at the time of making the booking.
  • CELA Credit cannot be used for in-service or consultancy services.
  • The Client can check their CELA Credit balance here: https://www.cela.org.au/cela-credit-balance
  • All training, events and other services provided by CELA are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Changes to this Policy

From time to time it may be necessary for us to review this policy. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time and to notify you of any amendments by posting an updated version on our website at cela.org.au
