Administration Officer (Part-Time)

Moresby Park Preschool Inc.

Moresby Park Preschool Inc. is seeking an Administration Officer; 18 hours per week employed under the Moresby Park Preschool Employee Collective Agreement.

A great opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a professional team environment and contribute to the smooth operation of our community not-for-profit Preschool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation & payment of weekly wages;
  • Preparation & lodgement of monthly IAS and quarterly BAS;
  • General administrative duties and supporting day-to-day office operations;
  • Customer service and communications with preschool families;
  • Financial management including budgeting, understanding and applying government funding guidelines to ensure good financial management;
  • Administration, data entry and maintaining accurate records using the Xplor childcare management platform.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Financial management, payroll and budgeting skills with relevant experience;
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel;
  • Experience with accounting software (knowledge of MYOB is an advantage);
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to laisse with families and the community;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to creating a child-safe environment
