We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic educators to join an experienced team in a welcoming and small council operated long day care centre that provides quality Education and Care in a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged up to 6 years.
Qualifications & experience
· Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services)
· NSW Working with Children Clearance
· Current First Aid Certificate
· Current Accredited Emergency Asthma Management Training
· Current Accredited Anaphylaxis Management Training
· Relevant experience as a Child Care Educator in a Long Day Care centre
Tasks & responsibilities
· To assist with the provision of education programs which meet the developmental, cultural and special needs of individual children attending the centre.
· To be actively involved with all children assisting them to manage the daily routines and develop their skills and knowledge.
· To complete required educational, attendance and regulatory documentation as required
· To uphold the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
· To report on all maintenance and equipment needs and replacements.
Hours
Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with no RDO.
