Certificate III Educator Permanent Part-time

We are looking for a Permanent Part-Time, Certificate III Educator to join our passionate and dedicated team. 

This role is a support role, guided by 2 supportive room leaders and a strong and passionate team, yet you will need to be confident to work independently. You will be working closely with the children to support their learning and wellbeing. You will be required to supervise and interact with the children throughout their day to ensure they are safe, secure, supported and engaged in the program. You will also be required to support the team by completing daily tasks and cleaning and setting up the classroom.

If you are considering this role, you will have a positive can-do attitude and enjoy helping others and working in a team. You will have an understanding of the EYLF and be an advocate for children and a professional who makes decisions based on the best interests of the children. You will be one who is committed to their Early Childhood career and eager to contribute to our team. You will be a person looking to work in a creative, reflective and open team environment. Experience is essential! As well, the educator we are looking for will meet the below selection criteria:

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Certificate III or equivalent
  • Current First Aid and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
  • Experience working with children aged birth to 6 years
  • A passion for interacting with children and supporting their learning and wellbeing
  • An ability to work independently
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the requirements of different children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Sound understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Understanding of play based curriculum
  • A commitment to child safety and compliance with Child and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998
  • Ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children, families and staff.
