About the Role

We are seeking a Diploma‑qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a part‑time, fixed‑term contract to cover a leave of absence. The successful applicant will work alongside a dedicated team of educators who value collaboration, reflective practice, and creating meaningful learning experiences that honour each child’s identity, agency, and curiosity.

Contract Details

•          Part‑time position, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm

•          Fixed‑term contract from mid‑April to the end of December 2026

•          Conditions and entitlements in line with our Enterprise Agreement

•          Above‑award salary

•          Paid school term break

About You

We are seeking a Diploma‑qualified educator who brings warmth, professionalism, and a commitment to high‑quality early childhood practice. Strong written communication skills are essential, as the role includes contributing to learning documentation, reflective practice, and clear, thoughtful communication with families.

Essential Requirements

•          ACECQA‑approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

•          Minimum two years’ experience in an early childhood education and care setting

•          Demonstrated ability in programming, documentation, and curriculum planning aligned with the EYLF

•          Strong understanding of child protection, child‑safe practices, and mandatory reporting responsibilities

•          Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection training

•          Current NSW Working With Children Check

•          Sound knowledge of the National Law, Regulations, National Quality Framework (NQF), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

•          Strong written communication skills, including clear documentation, reflective writing, and professional communication with families and colleagues
