We are looking to employ A Full time and Part Time Certificate 3 Educators who will be committed to offering high quality Education and care to the children in the Mittagong, Southern Highlands community. The center opening hours are 7am-6pm Monday to Friday
What you will be doing:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including observations, assessments and program planning
- Communicate effectively with parents and families, building strong partnerships to support each child's individual needs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and maintain a safe, healthy and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with the broader Explorers Learning Academy team to contribute to the overall success of the centre
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Early Childhood Educator, with a strong understanding of child development and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Familiarity with relevant early childhood education regulations, frameworks, and best practices
- Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young children
- A valid Working with Children Check and Child Protections must be obtained before commencing employment
