Early Childhood Educator (Diploma)

Waverley Council is currently looking for Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to work across our early education services. We have 3 full time and one 9 month contract position available.

 

  • Salary $71,808 - $82,580, plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Annual salary increases.

The role

  • Collaboration and teamwork to deliver a high-quality education program for children 0-5 years.
  • Advocate for the rights of children to support inclusive practices and their voice.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and to follow policies and procedures, including having a good understanding of child protection guidelines and child safe standards
  • Communication skills that support building relationships with children, families, and team members.
  • Demonstrated familiarity and strong commitment to the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.


About you

The ideal applicant will be a dedicated professional, who is enthusiastic and reliable, willing to learn and grow in a well-supported environment.

  • Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Child Protection qualification
