Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and critically reflect on practices and programs guided by The Approved Learning Frameworks
- Foster and nurture a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all children
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators, leadership, and families to support each child's development
- Document children’s progress and achievements through The Early Years Learning Framework Planning cycle.
- Engage in reflective practice and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the preschool
- Build strong relationships with children, families, staff and community promoting effective communication, collaboration and involvement in the learning and compliance processe
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management)
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), National Quality Standards (NQS), Child Safe Standards and other legislative requirements
- Registration for teaching proficiency through NESA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing and positive learning environment
- Passionate about fostering children’s curiosity, creativity, and well-being
