About the role

Love working with kids? Want a rewarding career in early childhood education? The City of Sydney is hiring Trainees in Early Education and Care to work in our local Education and Care services. You will work towards obtaining your Certificate III and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification while providing support in the delivery of educational programs and activities for children.

 

What you’ll do:

  • assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring the safety and well-being of children
  • Support qualified educators in daily activities
  • Help create a safe & fun learning environment
  • Assist in play-based learning & development and actively contributing to the implementation of high-quality early learning programs

 

What you’ll get:

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.

The recommended applicant must complete a pre-employment health declaration, criminal history check and working with children check.
