Our service is a non for profit organisation run by a supportive Parent Management Committee. We provide Before and After School Care and Vacation Care for up to 1220 primary school children. Located onsite at Hornsby Heights Public School, we enjoy the use of the beautiful school grounds.
Objectives of the role
Plan, implement and evaluate a varied and engaging educational program (BSC, ASC, VC) that, incorporates cross cultural elements and provide a suitable variety of activities to cater for all varying developmental needs of children.

Qualifications/ Requirements
· Diploma in OOSH/ Diploma in Children’s Services/ Bachelor of Primary Education or Certificate IV or currently working towards same, OR at least 2 years’ experience working in an OOSH environment preferably in a management/supervisor role.
· At least 2 years’ experience in working with children aged 5-12 years in an OOSH environment or similar.
· Current paid NSW Working with Children Check.
· Current First aid qualification HLTAID004: Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
· CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
A National Police Certificate from the State or Territory police service (or an agency accredited by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission) no more than six months before the date of the application
Qualifications/ Requirements

This position requires up to 38 hours worked across 5 days split shift and including weekly non-contact time.
