Child Care Australia United Ltd is seeking a passionate and motivated Educational Leader to join our team at Oyster Bay Before and After School Care and Vacation Care. Our service is licensed for 100 children and provides a welcoming, engaging and high-quality environment where children are supported to learn, grow and thrive.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, mentoring educators and creating meaningful learning experiences for school-aged children. Full-time or part-time opportunities are available.
About the role
As the Educational Leader, you will:
- Lead the educational program in line with My Time, Our Place.
- Mentor and support educators to strengthen their practice.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, educators and the school community.
- Support children's wellbeing, agency and play-based learning.
- Work closely with the Coordinator to maintain a high-quality service.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or an equivalent qualification (preferred); or
- Has a minimum of two years' experience working in an Outside School Hours Care or Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
- Has a good understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.
- Is organised, proactive and passionate about supporting children and mentoring educators.
- Holds or is willing to obtain the relevant Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
