The Lookout Early Education Centre is a 48-place privately run service with a wonderful, supportive team. Our unique location on the Sydney Harbour foreshore gives children access to incredible learning opportunities through nature-based experiences, including excursions and bush walks in our local environment.
Our Bush Kindy program allows children to explore their glorious backyard and connect deeply with the world around them. We are proud to have a highly qualified team with many long-standing staff members — we truly operate like a family and value the close relationships we build with children, parents, and fellow educators.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and confident Part-Time and Casual Educators to join our team.
The successful candidate will:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement across all areas of the service.
- Operate in line with the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Standard.
- Uphold the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics in all aspects of practice.
- Embed the service’s philosophy and values into everyday work and interactions.
- Follow the organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of contemporary, research-based early childhood education practices.
