Selection Criteria

·       Holding or working towards approved teaching Qualifications, as per approved qualifications at www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved. 

·       Diploma level qualifications will be considered for the right applicant.

·       Working with children check. 

·       ACECQA approved first aid qualification first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis management.

·       A willingness to be appointed as ‘Responsible Person’.

·       Child protection qualification CHCPRT001

·       Knowledge of the NQS and EYLF

·       Ability to support and lead other educators 

·       Ability to relate effectively to children and their families.

·       Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·       Developed communication and inter-person skills.

·       Commitment to ongoing professional learning.

·       2 Referees and their business hours contacts.


The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Early Childhood Teacher / Diploma Room Leader to join our team at Canowindra Preschool Kindergarten Inc. We are looking for a teacher who aligns with our philosophies and is able to provide engaging educational programs for the children. This position is 5 days a week, 76hrs per fortnight.
