About the Role

Bourke & District Children’s Services operates a Childcare, Preschool and Mobile playgroup servicing Bourke and wider communities. Do you want a change of pace? The Purpose of this Role

  • Assist with the implementation of daily routines
  • Maintain ongoing records of children’s development 
  • Form positive and nurturing relationships with children 
  • Ensuring the environment is safe, supportive, stimulating and educational
  • Developing curiosity while fostering exploration and problem solving
  • Ensuring each child has a sense of belonging

Essential Criteria

  • Commitment to enrol in a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Committed to the highest standard of education & care
  • Organisational Skills
  • Reliable & Punctual

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Children’s Services
  • Hold a current class C, P1 or P2 driver's license 
  • Computer/iPad Knowledge 

Employment Requirements

  • Hold a current Working with Children Check or be eligible to obtain.
  • Hold a current National Police/Criminal History check or be willing to obtain.
  • Be an Australian Resident or equivalent or holder of a visa allowing permanent employment in Australia​.
