Sorry Day, Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC Week: many services duly enter them in their cultural celebration calendars and engage as best they can with the topics and their communities.

NSW announces funding for two years of preschool education for three-year-olds in community based preschools. Led by advocacy and research, the NSW Government announced in this week’s budget, that all three-year olds in community based preschools will receive subsidised funding for fees from 2019.

Setting up an edible garden in your children’s service can encourage sustainable practices and connect children to the earth. Start small, plan ahead, involve children and your community to explore food from plot to plate. Reap the harvest and benefits.
