Governance and Management

Governance is the system or process by which organisations are directed, controlled and held accountable to ensure that the right decisions are made. Our education and care service recognises the importance of having a framework of rules, relationships, systems and processes within, and by which authority is exercised and controlled in the organisation. We view good governance and management as essential to our provision of quality education and care.

Staff Record Responsible Person

Early childhood services need a responsible person record because legal requirements mandate that a person with the authority and responsibility for the service’s operations must have the experience, qualifications, and knowledge to fulfil this role. It is important that the approved provider records this information, with sufficient evidence, and keeps it on file to demonstrate compliance to the Regulatory Authority. This record supports service providers to meet this legal obligation.
