Tools, tips and information to support effective continuous improvement 

A FREE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITY FOR NSW EDUCATION AND CARE SECTOR EMPLOYEES ONLY

This free, online professional learning opportunity will build knowledge and confidence in self-assessment and continuous improvement processes to support services located in NSW to deliver and celebrate high-quality practices with families and the community, as well as enabling services to feel prepared and better equipped for Assessment and Rating.

Unpacking Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement – tools, tips and information to support effective continuous improvement has been funded through the NSW Department of Education’s Sector Development Program. 

This session - offered for NSW Sector employees only - will provide:

  • Tools and activities that enable self-assessment to be built into the culture of your service
  • Key information to support educators and service leaders to feel confident in the self-assessment and continuous improvement process
  • Practical tips for each service type to enable all team members to understand and be more involved in self-assessment

The session has been designed to support all service types, including OOSH, Mobiles, Family Day Care, Preschool and Long Day Care Services in their capacity to:

  • Understand the tools available to make key quality practices visible at your service
  • Understand how self-assessment supports and builds confidence for Assessment and Rating
  • Identify how your service team can be empowered to be part of, and contribute to, self-assessment as well as continuous improvement processes
  • Support how key practices are written in the NSW Self-Assessment Working Document
