Vulnerable & Valuable: Understanding And Working With Children From Disadvantaged Backgrounds - Webinar

“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.” – Nelson Mandela

Early childhood educators play a vital role in reducing vulnerabilities in children.

By exploring current research and understanding what it is to work with a trauma-informed approach, you will gain a better ability to work with and support children who often have complex and difficult life experiences.

During this webinar, participants will reflect on the question 'What is disadvantage?'. You will be encouraged to think about and discuss how disadvantage impacts on a child’s development, behaviour, relationships and participation, and be provided with some helpful resources.
