Join CELA Child Safety Specialist, Aline Majado to unpack the new laws, translate them into daily practice, and prepare your service for compliance.
Important information regarding recordings and resources: A recording will be available for session 1 only. It will be available for 2 weeks after the session until 5pm, 16 December.
Please do not share the recording or any resources developed for this session. CELA invests significant time and expertise to support the sector through major reforms, without government funding. About the Facilitators

Aline Majado - CELA Child Safety Specialist
Aline is a child safety specialist with two decades of experience across early childhood, school and vocational education. With a deep understanding of the ECEC sector and the reforms shaping its future, she brings a strong focus on safeguarding children through evidence informed practice, high quality training, and sector wide capacity building.
At CELA, Aline leads the development and delivery of child protection programs, including accredited training such as CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk.

Kerrie Maguire - CELA Learning and Development Specialist
Kerrie is an expert in early childhood law, regulation and compliance, known for her deep sector knowledge and her ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical guidance for educators and service leaders. With more than twenty years’ experience in children’s services, she brings an exceptional understanding of the National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework, and the responsibilities of approved providers, nominated supervisors and management committees.
As a Learning and Development Specialist at CELA, Kerrie designs and delivers high impact training across governance, compliance, child protection, assessment and rating, supervision, and the legal obligations that underpin safe, high quality practice.
