In this session we will explore how the ACECQA Self-assessment tool can support the identification of key practices and evidence, and how it can be used to build educator confidence and aid in preparing for Assessment & Rating.

The session will support participants to transfer their QIP strengths into key practices and evidence. It will also enable educators to identify information and continuous improvement ideas that can be recorded in the self-assessment tool.

Completing Self Assessment 2 “ Using the Self-Assessment tool: Strategies to turn QIP strengths into visible and evidence based practice will contribute 2 hours of PD Standard 7 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Addressing Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents, carers and the community. 

This course may also contribute 2 hours of Elective PD to your maintenance of teacher accreditation requirements, in line with the current Elective PD Criteria https://www.educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/portal/nesa/teacher-accreditation/professional-development/pd-requirements
