Teaching Protective Behaviours to Support Educator and Child Well-being - Webinar

The teaching of protective behaviours can help children, adolescents, and adults learn how to keep themselves safe and reduce violence and abuse in the community by adults against children, between children, and towards educators from families, children, and other adults.

Participants will gain practical skills and knowledge for implementing and teaching protective behaviour practices to support the well-being of children and educators in early childhood and OOSH settings. Among other topics, the session will cover how to help individuals recognise and trust their feelings, and how to understand protective behaviour themes, skills and strategies in relation to child protection.

Each attendee will be provided with an extensive list of resources to assist them in intentionally teaching protective behaviours.
