Participants will engage in discussions, consider ethical dilemmas and build their knowledge and confidence in responding to child protection concerns.

By the end of this session, participants will:
- Develop an understanding of the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Amendment Act 2009 Key Features
- How child protection relates to National Law, National Regulations and National Quality Standards
- Develop a basic understanding of the Children’s Guardian Act 2019
- Explore harm types and risk and protective factors
- Understand when to access the MRG
- Build knowledge on how to respond to a disclosure
