Engaging with Principles of Active Supervision

The way the facilitator included practical life scenarios during this session helped me really understand the importance of engaging with active supervisions.

This session will explore the meaning of key terms such as effective, adequate, and active supervision. Exploring these terms will support educators in becoming aware of their own supervision techniques and the dynamic nature of supervision. 

Through a range of activities such as identifying key times for supervision, risk assessments and supervision plans, this session will enable participants to have a conscious understanding of what active supervision means in their daily practice in order to engage with children while maintaining their safety.
