Overview

What you'll learn

This session has been designed to support all service types, including OOSH, Mobile services, Family Day Care, Preschool and Long Day Care services, to strengthen their understanding of the difference between self-assessment and quality improvement.

Participants will explore the tools available to make key quality practices visible within their service, and develop their understanding of how strengths and practices can be effectively documented within the NSW Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Planning Portal and the ACECQA Self-Assessment Tool.

Participants will also gain practical strategies tailored to different service types, supporting teams to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and encourage meaningful involvement in self-assessment and continuous quality improvement processes.
