Overview
What you'll learn
Ensuring the best interests of the child remain the paramount consideration is central to quality pedagogy and decision-making. This session supports educators to develop a clear understanding of how the paramount consideration drives daily routines, influencing curriculum decisions, program planning, and interactions with children.
Participants will explore how critical reflection, team dialogue, and service philosophy help keep children’s best interests visible in everyday practice.
The session will also consider the role of the Educational Leader in guiding educator practice. Together, we will explore practical ways Educational Leaders can support reflective thinking, facilitate meaningful team discussions, and connect philosophy with pedagogical decision-making to ensure children are at the centre of practice.
