Reflecting on presence and connection
In early childhood settings, the most meaningful moments often unfold when educators are fully present—stepping out from behind the camera and giving themselves permission to be immersed in a child’s world. When we put the camera down, we create space for authentic connection, deep listening, and genuine observation. This presence invites curiosity.
This session invites educators to reflect on the stories, discoveries and learning that emerge when we are truly present with children, and how these moments can inform rich and respectful documentation practices.
