During this session, you will gain an overview of cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development milestones.
We will discuss the developmental outcomes at various stages of children's growth and share the foundations of developmental theory. With this knowledge, you will be able to analyse learning as part of the planning cycle, create developmental summaries, meet learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework in practice, and implement this information to develop quality programs for children.
In addition, we will discuss the challenges of identifying and supporting children's development and create strategies for providing experiences that meet their developmental needs.
