Do you feel that you have exceeding practices but are finding it difficult to identify this in your key practices? Are you unsure what the difference is between Meeting and Exceeding?

This session will enable participants to ‘unpack’ each exceeding theme in relation to the what and why, and to understand the process of identifying how your practices go above and beyond.

Gain confidence in the exceeding themes process, know where to find guidance and how to identify exceeding themes within your key practices.

2 hour contribution

Elective PD

Completing How the Exceeding themes influence your practices will contribute 2 hours of PD addressing Standard 7 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Professional Engagement Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents, carers and the community. 

This course may also contribute 2 hours of Elective PD to your maintenance of teacher accreditation requirements, in line with the current Elective PD Criteria https://www.educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/portal/nesa/teacher-accreditation/professional-development/pd-requirements
