Inquiry Based Learning - Webinar

How can we help foster curiosity, thinking and a sense of wonder in young children? Embedding inquiry based learning into everyday practice is a great place to start. This two hour session will explore how educators can foster a joy of learning and a sense of awe and wonder in children.

Participants will gain an understanding of what inquiry based learning is, as well as engaging in practical strategies to implement it in everyday practice, including how spaces, resources and materials can be engaged.

 

2 hour contribution

Elective PD

Completing Inquiry Based Learning will contribute 2 hours of PD addressing Standard 1 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Professional Knowledge Standard 1: Know students and how they learn. 

This course may also contribute 2 hours of Elective PD to your maintenance of teacher accreditation requirements, in line with the current Elective PD guidelines and examples https://www.educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/portal/nesa/teacher-accreditation/professional-development/pd-requirements
