How can we help foster curiosity, thinking and a sense of wonder in young children? Embedding inquiry-based learning into everyday practice is a great place to start. This two-hour session will explore how educators can foster a joy of learning and a sense of awe and wonder in children.
Participants will gain an understanding of what inquiry-based learning is and engage in practical strategies to implement it in everyday practice, including how spaces, resources, and materials can be engaged.
Participants will:
- Identify what inquiry-based learning is and what it means to you.
- Connect the information discussed to the EYLF and MTOP version 2.0.
- Understand the role of the physical and human elements of inquiry-based learning processes.
- Identify models of inquiry.
