Inquiry Based Learning

APST aligned

Version 2.0 of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) emphasises inquiry as an essential skill for lifelong learning. In this session, we will explore how educators can nurture curiosity, promote critical thinking, and instil a sense of wonder in young children.

We will explore ways in which educators can facilitate inquiry-based learning through both planned and spontaneous interactions across different age groups. Additionally, we will discuss the role that intentionally designed learning environments can play in promoting inquiry, along with various inquiry models that can be applied in both practice and the documentation of learning.

NOTE: Teachers in Victoria, QLD, WA, SA, NT, and Tasmania who complete this course will be provided with a certificate and are able to use this course towards their maintenance of Registration requirements.
