Music In The Early Years - Webinar

Music is one of a range of tools and media listed in the EYLF as helping children to express themselves, connect with others and extend their learning. The great news is, you don’t need to be an accomplished musician to include music in your daily program!

The session will cover the elements of music (such as rhyme, melody and expression) and provide resource ideas to introduce children to the elements of music.

You will feel more confident to include music experiences in your daily program via a variety of means such as intentional teaching, spontaneous teaching, routines and transition times.

Completing Music in the Early Years contributes 2.5 hours of PD addressing Standard 1 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers - Professional Knowledge Standard 1: Know students and how they learn; 1.2: Understand how children learn.
