I enjoyed hearing all the practical examples that were given, what each brain chemical releases and the effects it has on a child. The window of tolerance was very informative and how important repetition helps children learn and helps children learn positive social behaviours. Thank you for this session - I am eager to share all this information with my fellow staff.

Drawing from current research in relation to how children’s brains grow and develop, this session will support you to identify a child’s stress related behaviour and develop an understanding of how the brain and body work together to create behavioural responses. This research and science can apply a new ‘lens’ to how we view children’s behaviour and our responses as educators.
