For many educators, especially those beginning their journey in the sector, observing and documenting children’s learning can feel overwhelming. Knowing what to notice, how to record it meaningfully, and how observations connect to children’s learning and development can take time and practice.
This session will build foundational knowledge around the why, what and how of observations in early childhood settings. We will explore different documentation methods, and build your understanding of how to identify the ‘aha’ moments, children’s skills, milestones and progression.
