Practical approaches to programming for Educators support new and inexperienced educators to plan programs that centre the voice of the child in all decision-making. It supports educators' intention to create programs that draw on the service philosophy and approved learning frameworks.

Participants will:

  • Unpack what a program is.
  • The importance of the service philosophy when designing a high-quality program
  • How the paramountcy of children informs planning and documentation.
  • How the learning framework supports programming and decision-making.
  • Explore how documentation makes educators’ and children’s thinking and learning visible.
