Program and Practice

NEW Professional and ethical practice in action

Working with children is complex and rewarding work and involves the exercising of specific skills and knowledge. Importantly, understanding what it means to act professionally and ethically is integral to providing high quality education and care to children

This session explicitly identifies what it means to be a professional and acting ethically in early education.

Using guiding frameworks such as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the approved learning frameworks and relevant legislation we will explore the significance of the role of the early childhood educator.
