Spotlight on the EYLF V2.0: Exploring the Changes

In this session, we will look closely at the updated EYLF 2.0 including revisions and new additions, as well as considering the implications for our practice. We will reflect on how we intertwine the principles and practices of the EYLF V2.0 in our work with children and families and align our play-based pedagogical approaches with the strengthened vision for children’s learning.  

Participants will have the opportunity to:  

  • Consider the importance of the vision, pedagogy, principles, and practices of the EYLF V2.0. 

  • Explore the rationale behind the updated EYLF V2.0 and consider the research evidence that. underpins the changes and updates. 

  • Examine the key updates and what they might look like in practice. 

  • Consider the next steps in embedding the updates into everyday pedagogy and practice.

Bringing the EYLF V2.0 to Life: Sustainability in Practice

  • Have you wondered what sustainability means in practice in our early childhood environments?
