In this session, we explore how secure attachment relationships provide the foundation for confidence, curiosity and learning in the early years.
Participants will:
- Refresh their understanding of child development from birth to three years
- Explore the importance of secure attachments for infants and toddlers, and how these relationships support confidence, competence and exploration
- Expand their toolkit of practical strategies to support infant and toddler agency through:
- sensory play
- everyday interactions
- promoting agency and maintaining high expectations.
