What you'll learn

Grounded in the EYLF V2.0 Sustainability Principle, this session supports educators to explore sustainability as a connected and multidimensional concept, encompassing environmental, social, and economic perspectives.
 
Together, we will unpack what sustainability looks like in practice and how it can be meaningfully embedded into everyday pedagogy.

Highlights

Embedding sustainability into everyday practice

Educators will build their understanding of how to support children to recognise the interdependence between people, animals, plants, land, and water, while developing the skills and dispositions needed to become active, informed citizens.
 
This session is designed to be practical and reflective, helping you move beyond surface-level approaches and into intentional, inclusive practices that contribute to fair and sustainable communities—now and into the future.

Note

NOTE: Teachers in Victoria, QLD, WA, SA, NT, and Tasmania who complete this course will be provided with a certificate and are able to use this course towards their maintenance of Registration requirements.
