Educators often cite behaviour as a key challenge in their work with young children, but this session can help you change that! Learn intentional, strength-based strategies to respond in ways that honour each child’s context and experience.

Overview

What you'll learn

This 2-hour session will explore what behaviour is and the ‘why’ behind behaviours we may perceive as challenging. Participants will unpack ways to respond to behaviour that are strength-based, intentional and contextualised to the child and their experience.

All participants will receive access to a digital library of resources to help them reflect on the webinar learnings and implement strategies in their practice.

The facilitator was engaging and offered supportive, practical strategies to strengthen our practice. Alison

Neuroscience and Behaviour

Drawing from current research in relation to how children’s brains grow and develop, this session will support you to identify a child’s stress related behaviour and develop an understanding of how the brain and body work together to create behavioural responses.
