About the session

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect upon the role of digital technology in early education program and practice by unpacking the ECA ‘Statement on young children and digital technologies’. Educators will be inspired to rethink their pedagogical practices around the inclusion of digital technologies to enhance young children’s learning through a play-based, contextually relevant, cross-curriculum planning approach.

During this session, you will learn about the ways in which media and digital technology can be incorporated effectively to facilitate meaningful, deeper understandings and promote ongoing inquiry-based investigations in early learning settings. Discover an extensive online catalogue of ABC Kids Early Education quality digital and non-digital teaching resources created in alignment with National Quality Approved Learning Frameworks including – children’s programs, podcasts, music, stories, apps and games.
