About the role 

Exciting opportunity for a Diploma in Early Childhood Qualified Educator in an integrated service of preschool with After school Care attendance as well as a preschool Vacation Care program. Work with the Director and the team in providing a high quality care and education for 3-5 year old children.

Hours would include Monday- Friday 9:54am-6pm during term time with variable full time hours during school holidays.

This is a permanent full-time position.

Duties

  • Planning, implementing, documenting, evaluating and delivering a preschool program for 3 – 5 year old children.
  • Overseeing 5 afternoons of the after school program for preschoolers.
  • Developing a positive and supportive relationship with children.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, engaging and compliant environment.
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with families.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma Qualifications in Early Childhood Education
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Completion of Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT001 or previous equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the Education and Care National regulations and National Quality Framework
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance.
