Effective use of Technology with children - Webinar

Nesa Accredited PD

As we know, learning takes place in a social context—children learn from each other, together with others, and alongside intentional educators.

When using technology we need to ensure we are using it as a purposeful and intentional tool for learning.

This session will provide participants with opportunities to:

· Consider technology as a pedagogical tool for intentional teaching and rich inquiry-based

learning, collaboration, and exploration.

· Explore, discuss, and reflect on the activities and opportunities we provide for young children

that can be enhanced with the use of technology.

· Consider technology connections with the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and the ECA Statement on young children and digital technologies, recent research, and screen time.

· Develop their own knowledge and understanding of appropriate digital technology use and safety with children and families.
