You And The Third Teacher: Making Spaces Learning Places

Educational practitioners play a primary role in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the learning environment (also known as the ‘third teacher’). This session, presented by Early Childhood Interior Architectural Designer Tracey Sharp, focuses on the parallels between an educator’s individual philosophy and the physical, sensory and temporal environment they create and maintain for children.

You and the third teacher, part of the Making Spaces Learning Places series, will provide educational practitioners with the information, resources and processes to develop learning places. Spaces are just spaces, they become learning places when they have intent and meaningful educational purpose.
