An Introduction to the Circle of Security for early educators is an evidence-based program which can support you to strengthen your relationship with children.
This introductory workshop series led by Michelle Cuthbertson (a licensed Circle of Security facilitator) provides an overview of key concepts in order to inspire educators to reflect on their daily practices and interactions, using the lens of secure attachment.

Completing An Introduction to the Circle of Security for Early Educators contributes 2.5 hours of PD addressing Standard 1 from the Australian professional Standards for Teachers - Professional Knowledge Standard 1: Know students and how they learn it; 1.1 Physical social and intellectual development and characteristics of students.
About Michelle Cuthbertson:
Michelle has qualifications in early childhood education, adult education, management and Circle of Security facilitation. She has worked as a Centre Manager, Family and Children’s Services Manager, Senior Preschool Advisor (DET), Resource Developer (ACECQA), TAFE Teacher, Early Education Consultant and Parenting Facilitator. She is also the author of two publications: Commonsense Discipline and Do & Learn.
